Hi, I’m Steve. I’m The Wedding Host.
I created The Wedding Host for a simple reason: I want couples to relax, enjoy their wedding day and create the memories they imagined.
I’m passionate about weddings being fun and enjoyable for everyone — with a relaxed atmosphere, a sense of calm control, and someone everyone can rely on to look after the things that need looking after.
With more than 20 years’ experience planning, running and hosting events, I initially started working in weddings as a traditional Master of Ceremonies.
But I quickly noticed something.
Even when couples had beautifully planned their day, they and their family and friends were often still having to help run it. Who is checking the timings? Is everyone ready for the speeches? Has the photographer arrived? What happens next?
Those little things can quickly add up.
The people who should be enjoying the wedding are the ones helping to run it.
I didn’t think that was right.
So The Wedding Host evolved into something more: helping couples enjoy the wedding they’ve spent so long planning.
I realised couples needed more than an MC. They needed someone they could trust to understand the plans, keep everything moving, solve the details and give them the freedom to simply be guests at their own wedding.
I want your wedding to feel fun, relaxed and completely you. I bring a sense of calm control to the day, without taking control away from you. I won't change your plans or impose my ideas on your wedding.
This is your wedding. Your plans, your personality and your priorities come first. You don't need someone to take it over. You need someone you can trust to take care of it.
Your wedding should be enjoyable. For you, your guests and everyone involved. There will always be things happening behind the scenes. My job is to make sure they don't become your problem.
I'm there to know what's happening, what's coming next and what needs doing, without creating unnecessary fuss. Your family, your suppliers and your guests should know there's someone they can turn to.
